Dreamworks Pictures has released the promotional poster for Tim Burton's cinematic vision of Stephen Sondheim's Sweeney Todd.
The film, starring Johnny Depp as the Demon Barber of Fleet Street, has been adapted to the screen by John Logan (Gladiator) and also features Burton mainstay Helena Bonham Carter, who has become quite adept at playingseriously deranged characters.
Audiences experiencing Sweeney withdrawal following Opera Australia's fabulous production can look out for the film at Christmas time.
