MARGARET WHITLAM - 1919-2012
Gough, her children Antony, Nicholas, Stephen and Catherine, her grandchildren Alex, Alice, Helen, Edward and Peter and her great grandchildren Oscar, Isabella, Charlotte and Sam have lost their beloved, and so have we.
For decades Margaret Whitlam has been a familiar and much loved presence in audiences at Belvoir Street, the Sydney Theatre Company, the Opera House, the Sydney Dance Company, Bangarra, the Art Gallery of NSW, the MCA - wherever art and artists gathered to perform and display their work - she and Gough have been there. The Australian arts community has lost a grand champion and a great fan.
