CABARET WINTER WORKSHOP 2015

May 10 2015

CABARET WINTER WORKSHOP 2015 - at last: you can do it! (And if you don’t know who they are - above - then this workshop isn’t for you.)

The Cabaret Winter Workshop is the first of its kind in Australia and is produced by one of our leading cabaret and musical theatre performers, Queenie van de Zandt

It’s a unique hands-on, brains-in-gear get down and dirty opportunity. Over two intense weeks, you will work with Queenie and participate in 20 master-classes run by a Who’s Who of cabaret. They include…

Paul Capsis, Trevor Ashley, Max Lambert, Mitchell Butel, Phil Scott, Garry Scale, Tyran Parke, Andrew Worboys, Alison Avron, Neil Gooding, Troy Francis, Wendy Richards and the ever popular Many More.

The workshop is designed for emerging and mid-career writers, producers and performers, 18 years and over who are interested in cabaret and would like to learn more about how to create, produce or perform a cabaret either for themselves or for a group.

Maybe you have an idea for a cabaret show and want help to develop it, or maybe you need help in sparking the idea – either way, this workshop will work for you. Take this unique opportunity to spend time developing your show under the guidance of the best in the cabaret industry.

The Cabaret Winter Workshop is a practical course in devising, performing and producing cabaret. You will finish the course with a deeper understanding of the cabaret form and of your own particular talents and skills (which you will have enhanced). You will also have acquired skills and the knowledge of how to put your show out there and how to pitch to producers and audiences and ensure that your show and your talent are maximised and turned into the best show it can be.

To work with Queenie is an opportunity absolutely not to be missed.
