WISH ME LUCK AS YOU WAVE ME GOODBYE
Dear Friends – by the time you read this I will not have turned into Pauline Hanson, but I will be on a plane bound for London and other parts of the UK.
Many (well, at least six people) have asked for reports from London theatres. If I can find and get into interesting, important, vibrant, exciting, challenging, innovative, funny or serious shows, then I might irritate you to death with “I’m here and you’re not.” Otherwise, if I go picking bluebells in the woods instead, you will be happy as I won't be posting photos of lunch, or dinner.
Meanwhile, I’m sorry to be missing the opening of Sport For Jove’s The Merchant of Venice, directed by the master, Richard Cottrell and I urge you not to do the same. Will be back for Robyn Nevin and Mother Courage at Belvoir, however, as it’s a play and an actress dear to my heart and I’ve been hanging out for that since it was announced.
So – if you have questions or would like me to do something useful while over there, please send me a message via the email here (it will be a nice change from offers of Viagra and Russian poontang).
I love youse all. Well, most of you anyway.
Di
