There\\\'s a strained camaraderie that grows among men who only share the common ground of having fought and bled for their country, whether they understand why or not. For these three disillusioned and wounded soldiers, a somewhat forced friendship becomes a way of holding on to something resembling a functioning life.

Evoking Robert Altman\\\'s film M*A*S*H in its roller coaster approach to humour and sadness, McLure gently lets us in on these privates\\\' private wars.
