Description

It’s 1999. Y2K is right around the corner and ‘No Doubt’ is playing on everyone’s Walkman. Allen House Rehabilitation Clinic is one of the most highly reputed in the country, and today a very important guest is due to visit.

This quirky and outrageous comedy is produced by Fresh Antics, a company of emerging artists brought together through a love of comedy and collaborative theatre making. Fast-paced and larger than life, Locked Out paints a hilarious and at times moving picture of the lives of two individuals looking for friendship and meaning in a lonely world.

Co-creators and performers Jessica Pantano and Nicola Darcy draw audiences into the lives of this unlikely pair and their senseless version of reality for a snappy yet tumultuous 30 minutes. Recently returning from a successful season at the Adelaide Fringe Festival, the show will be performed for three nights only in Parramatta this May (8th, 9th and 10th) as part of Anywhere Festival, a festival of performance anywhere but in a theatre.

Fresh Antics worked with established comedy director Drew Fairley in development of the show, before their tour to Adelaide and now to Sydney. Now they will take over the former Prince Peking Duck Restaurant on Darcy St, Parramatta, as part of Anywhere Festival.

Tickets are only $15. Book now for a comedy so crazy you’ll have yourself committed!
