Step back in time and immerse yourself in a real library. Browse the shelves and listen to hushed confessions of the casting couch and a man lying dead on the carpet.

Originally produced in London by W Theatre Wanstead, this sold-out site specific production now comes to Sydney as the debut production of its new permanent Sydney branch, W Theatre Woollahra, in partnership with Woollahra Libraries and proudly supported by Woollahra Council.

The original production featured Logie-nominated Sophie Dillman, beloved for her portrayal of Ziggy on Home and Away, and she reprises her role for Sydney audiences.

Each of Alan Bennett’s Talking Heads is a perfectly distilled masterpiece: sometimes disturbing, often hilarious, and always profoundly humane.
